I'd like to introduce my self. My name is Scott Gilder, and I'm from New Iberia, LA. I used to shoot quite a bit 10 years ago, but got out of it for some reason. After lurking on several rifle forums, I got interested again, and bought a new rifle - a Marlin X7 in 308 (what else?). I also reload for it, as I did in the past. I'm looking forward to getting back into shooting. I appreciate the knowledge and experience on this and other forums, and look forward to talking to all of you.

Welcome Scott! AND You are in luck my friend. Living in New Iberia is a friend of mine who is a PHENOMENAL reloader and shot! He also goes to Palo Alto Rifle and Pistol Range in Donaldsonville, a few miles down the road from you. The Long Range Director there is another friend of mine who, in his own right, is a VERY accomplished reloader. These fellows would be MORE THAN HAPPY to help you in any way they can.. Just go to their site, go to a match and talk to these fellows. They are ALSO on this site: Jade Delcombre (Down South) and Rick Stewart (RStewart). These are the folks you need to get in touch with.. They will be a GREAT help to you..
