hey anybody have a good cal choice for a heavy varminter? im thinking ether a 6.5-284 or straight 284. if you have another good choice im all ears please tell id like to hear what you got.

Phil is right the calibers you name are anything but small bore,
If you truly want a small bore, 100-400 yd shooter, start with the 221fb, 223, 223 AI, dasher,
for longer shooting, 22-250, 22br, 6br out to 500-600yd
the max i think would be 243,243 AI but bbl live goes down as well as shooting comfort.
