I decided to measure the base to ogive throat length of my 223 HBAR Krieger match barrel today.The 77MK and 69MK had the same base to ogive lengths, and at magazine length were jumping around 0.035
However, I then measured the 53MK, and at magazine length they were right at the lands??? Somehow the logic of this escapes me- I thought for sure the heavier bullets would be into the lands or at least closer than lighter bullets at magazine length, but this is not what the measurements indicate.
Am I missing something here?
