headspace ?'s regarding my 22tcm

so I just had to have one of these armscor 22tcm bolt rifles. why? I have no idea, probably because I like small case cartridges.

any way here is my problem, and I'd rather not send it back to have armscor fix it.

if I measure a new unfired round, I measure the case and its .728 for headspace purposes using a hornady comparator. once fired they now measure .742, and there is no way you can re-chamber a once fired round. about every fifth round or so is damn near impossible to extract. you basically have to hammer the bolt back. if I resize and just bump the shoulder to .740 they chamber fine.
do you guys suppose the headspace is off causing the brass to stretch beyond its elastic limits?
also I took the bolt apart and slid a new piece of brass in the chamber and I can still close the bolt on it with a 20 thou shim between the bolt face and case head. with it just closed on the case I can easily slip a 12thou shim between the two.

so what do you think? I know I should not have bought a piece of junk but hey.....it is what it is.

btw my reloads do the same thing. some extract fine others are tough and some impossible. the body is also expanded by about 3 thou from new to once fired. sloppy chamber I guess.
I have just never not been able to rechamber a once fired piece of brass.

Okay guys. Aside from the sloppy chamber and excessive ( in my opinion) headspace, I believe I found the problem. The bolt isn't in perfect alignment with the chamber. I found that the fired cases, since they match the chamber won't actually fall into the bolt head since the bolt is about 5 thou off center. Oh boy. So when you fire a round it binds the case in the chamber off of the bolt head. I think if I just open the bolt face up about 5-10 thou thinks will be okay. What a pile this gun is.

The above left me confused.

I took out the firing pin, and just like a go-no-go gauge I can still put 20 thou feeler gauge in between the case head and the bolt face and cam the bolt closed. if I have the bolt already closed on the case I can slip a 12 thou feeler gauge between the bolt face and the case head. this is done thru the magazine cutout in the receiver bottom. if this makes sense

armsor emailed back and wanted me to return the gun to have it fixed. my friend is a gunsmith, so I may just take it up to his shop and fiddle with it. it not like its a high end gun.
