Headspace question if R and R a barrel to thread for suppressor

If you take a barrel off a action to thread for suppressor then put it back on the same action will i need to worry about headspace changing? Only change would be threading the muzzle. For record it is a rem 700 in 300 win mag. I appreciate help and guidance.

No, it shouldn't change the headspace, assuming it headspaces off the shoulder, as any good Rem 700 should.

Make sure there's a witness mark at the bottom of the receiver/barrel juncture, if none present use a punch or narrow blade chisel to make one.

Remove the barrel, do the required work, torque to line up the witness marks and headspace will be exactly what it was before.

I do this commonly if i choose to crown or thread a muzzle where it's preferred over leaving the receiver installed and working through the spindle.
