This can never work here in the USA because politicians don't think any of us are" trustworthy" And dream up more and more reasons to deny citizens gun ownership. Like driving to fast/ had some "residue" in the ash tray, Tax problem, wife called the cops on you ETC ETC.
Oh and don't forget what the ATF and the VA are doing to the veterans

I have seven custom cases that I found at the local range. Believe they should have been stamped "300 W.W.Mag".

"300 Weatherby Winchester Magnum". Yes, somebody shot 300 Winchester Magnum in their 300 Weatherby Magnum rifle.

I also have a couple "270/06" and "40 S-n-W/45 ACP".

In IL you cannot buy, own or shoot a gun without a FIREARM OWNER'S IDENTIFICATION CARD. You cannot even buy ammo without this card! You have to get the application online. They also have them at all the sporting good stores firearm section and all gun shops. It has about 25 questions on it. All the questions are "have you ever been convicted of a felony, have you ever been diagnosed with a mental health problem, have you ever been convicted of a violent crime". It states in bold letters if you falsify on this application you can be prosecuted! It takes to 2-3 months to get the card after you mail the application off. Its all a big waste of time and only puts a hassle on the law abiding citizens. All the criminals have their stolen guns and will still use them in crimes. O yea, the last 2 governors in IL are in prison for being crooks! Shows how great of a state IL is.

I believe its lack of consequence in just about everything kids do. At no point in a child's life is it his or her fault. so why should they have to start worrying when playing with firearms. heck there rank 1 million on call of duty, that practically makes them an expert. anyway. is there any price difference in either ammo or firearms in states with permits etc?
