Hawkeye angle eyepiece problems

I’ve had this angle eye piece for years no issues
Now it’s black when connected to the bore scope. Looking thru just the eye piece is fine I can see my hand or whatever but connected to the bore scope goes black

Anyone experienced anything like this?
Ill call them tomorrow but just checking here

I called they didn’t have any ideas. Mine is on its way to Gradient for service. I couldn’t figure it out
