Here's interesting news from Germany. Vallon GmbH, maker of industrial de-magnetizing equipment, has revealed that two Wisconsin-based barrel makers have acquired large degaussing machines. These German-made assembly-line degaussers can process up to 50 rifle barrels at one time.
Krieger has successfully used cryogenics to improve barrel steel. Degaussing may be the next big advancement in barrel making.
