Maybe information overload, lol. heard bushing dies couse "Donuts" after serval reloadings so would it be better to have my Forster FL dies honed to my cartridge (no turn necks, using Lapua cases) only cost $10.00 +s&h..bushing die sets(with 3 bushings) are $70.00 forster.this is for my new savage VLP 1-7,223 rem for mid f-class 300-600yds and some gongs~Danny thank you for your help.

I have had my 223 and 308 Forster FL sizing dies both honed to my specs. The cost is minimal and turn-around is very fast from Forster.

Only issue is that the die is setup for only one thickness of brass, so to get consistent results, the brass should all be the same or uniform.

Bushing dies do not cause donuts.
Thick brass flowing forward with repeated firings causes donuts. Or neck expanding brass up a caliber or two will get you donuts immediately.
Having your current die reamed is cheaper.
Like longtrain said. Its not as versatile tho.
