Am super stoked with my brand new CZ 457 Modacam rifle w/ their Kreiger 1.18" OD barrel. Congrats Jonathan Elrod on a great rifle!

Today was my first time shooting it and it exceeded all my expectation ... got mostly 10's, enough Xs to win repeater fun matches at my club, also a few 9's (& Sadly one 8). This target is the same size as the IR5050 8 ring. Great to practice with.

Wind was mild & shifty so am pretty stoked with its performance. I was shooting some 327 m/s Lapua C-X.

This is by far the best of any repeater I ever owned.
Correction: I just noted that I somehow did a time warp and wrote the wrong year on my target.. LOL

Been using Jonathan since he started. Super nice guy. He currently has 4 barrels of mine. He did my Vudoo Recently, barrel and ignition work. It doesn't disappoint!!!
He's gone DEEP down the 22 Rabbit hole.
Top notch smith without question.
One to watch for sure.

He put a Shilen octagon on my Bergara B-14R. Extremely accurate and that he tests them before sending them back is a testament to his work as well.

Three of us sent our CMP 40X actions to Jonathan back in 2017 IIRC for the Mike Bush-designed repeater modification to use V22 magazines. Jonathan's work was top-notch - in addition to being a very proficient gunsmith, he's a very experienced CNC machine programmer & operator, and the modifications were done perfectly. One of the three of us had him fit & chamber a Krieger bbl blank to his 40X while he had it doing the mods, and to this day, he's so satisfied with it that he's not had any desire to try a Vudoo or any of the other newer 22RF repeaters that have come on the market since we converted our 40X rifles.

Yea, can't say enough good things about Jonathan. He recently finished up my Vudoo, which shoots better than me. He's doing 2 CZ's for me now.

What distance was the targets you shot, could not make out. 50 or 100. Looking at the flags, appears to be 100 yds. Great shooting by the way.

What is that target Called? I Where did you get them? had some a while back, wanted to pick some up.

That sure looks like Yolo sportsmen 50 yard range Near Davis Ca .I shoot there almost every week
