Has anyone tried the ELD-M 162 gr 7mm?

I found my rifle shoots 162 A-MAX nicely. Anyone tried the ELD-M 162 7mm?

Anyone have real statistical data?

Not that one, but had a buddy shoot a match recently with the 208 ELD. Shot a HM score in the first match before the wind started to blow. It was unclear after that if the drop in scores was more due to wind or the difficulty managing recoil in the later matches. I suspect a combination of both.

Still, for a shooter who usually shoots EX and MA scores to jump into the HM range shows a lot of accuracy potential for the bullet, and the extraordinary BCs suggest a lot of potential in the wind once recoil management is conquered.

I have tried it in a 284, 30" Brux 1:8.8 twist. I've tried it jammed 10 thou and jumped 5 thou. It won't shoot as tightly as a Berger 168vld so I'll stick with Berger. The 175gr ELD-X shows more promise than the 162gr in my rifle though.

I useing the eld x in my 7-08 jumping about .015. Still going to play with seating. Shoots good. It shoots as good as the Berger Did for me.

The 162 ELD-M's are the "old" 162 Amax with the new heat shield tip, no difference otherwise.
