Has anyone owned an H&R Model 700 22 mag?

First off what did you think of it? Did they shoot well or were they junk? I do know they are very hard to find in any condition. Cleaned one for a friend and now he wants to sell it for 350.00 with 3 mags in about 95% condition. The bluing is gorgeous. It seems well built. So what do you think fella's.

PS: I haven't bought it yet and don't intend on selling it for now.

I shot one years ago, I remember it being accurate and never jammed, being in the condition you describe I would say it worth what you're asking

$350 looks like it may be a good price based on the 11 currently for sale on GunBroker. Biggest negative could be the availability of 22WMR ammo.

I have one. Shoots great. Very accurate cycles almost perfect. Only drawback, its pretty heavy for a 22 mag. Mine may have been restocked. For $350 i would buy it!

I have one. Real solid. Trigger is rough, but rifle is accurate. I shot mine freestanding with a scope at indoor range. I wouldn't trade or give it up. Super rifle IMO. 22Mag is great cartridge.

I have one of the Delux models with Factory H&R scope --it shoots very well BUTT it likes the heavier bullets
