Has anyone has any experience with the Shooters World powders?

SW 'Precision' is Lovex SO62 from Explosia a.s. in the Czech Republic, a long time and very competent propellants and explosives manufacturer whose products, especially the 'SO' (single-based extruded) range are good if maybe not very exciting.

If you ever used the old Accurate Arms 4064 back in the days before AA was bought by Western Powders (the Ramshot people), that was SO62. It was called '4064' because it performs very like the IMR powder of that name - a great all-rounder useful in lots of cartridges and bullet weights, but usually not one that delivers the highest velocities. (Western Powders terminated the contract with Explosia after buying Accurate Arms and source today's 'Accurate' grades which mostly still use the same designations - 4064, 4350, 2230, 2460, 2520 etc - from Canada and the US.)

So, basically if IMR-4064 / Accurate-4064 work well in an application, 'Precision' will too. I've used it in 308 with 155gn / 168gn loads and it performs well. It's reasonably clean burning, but IIRC is rather long-grained like its IMR namesake so not best suited to mechanical powder measures. (I'd have to look at it again to be sure of this.) I can't comment on its temperature stability, but as a plain-Jane single-based type it should be similar to that of pre-Enduron IMR powders.

The 'DO' series powders (double-based) which are mostly ball types do produce very high MVs and are quite popular in Europe especially in 223 for that reason. I avoid them though as IME they are 'dirty' especially on the outside of case-necks leaving a burned-on residue that if left for any period of time needs some serious abrasive cleaning to get off. The SW 'Match Rifle' featured in the YouTube video attached to an earlier post is Lovex DO73.6 which in Accurate Arms days was marketed as AA-2520 and in the company's literature and loading manual was claimed to be known by users as 'the Camp Perry powder'. This was a reference to its alleged popularity among M14/M1A shooters with the 168gn Sierra MK in 308 Win.

SO71 is the powder that used to be AA3100 according to the website. Some here have called it pixie dust for a 25-06, I agree with them.
