Has anyone ever made brass for a 375 JDJ ?

I friend of a friend has been left a contender in 375 JDJ after his father passed. He asked if I could load for it and I told him I would take a look. He brought me a set of dies, 444Marlin brass, a bunch of load data, some bullets and a neck turning tool. The barrel has no engraving that specifies a neck diameter. The pilot in the neck turner looks to be for a 375. I am unsure if it needs to have the necks turned or not. I am wondering if the dies will take the 444 Marlin all the way to 375.

It's been a few years since I have loaded for mine, if I remember correctly its a pretty simple process. I have the Hornady 375 JDJ dies, not sure on your barrel but if its a standard chamber by JD it should be a no turn neck. Hope this helps.

Forming 375 JDJ brass is very simple. Make sure the 444 Case mouths are square. Can run it into a 44 Mag sizer die a little bit to square it. Lube 444 and run it into 375 JDJ sizer and you have a 375 JDJ case.

I don't know why there is a neck turner if it's a no turn neck. But I can't see why JDJ would where you would have to neck turn, it just makes it that much more work.
