Target crew have been telling me my last 3-4 shots in fast 10 shot strings have nearly always been at the top of the group when using H4831sc in my 300WM HG. When shooting 5 or 10 shot groups at a slower speed, the group didn't climb as much. A shooter recommended I try VV N165 as it will not heat the barrel up as much in the fast strings. It seems everyone I know uses H4831sc or H1000 (or even H4350) in their 30 cal magnums. Has anyone here tried VV N165 with any success in their heavy guns?
