I was wondering what the general thought was on the hart 2oz trigger. You dont seem to hear much on them? I bought a used one, so i hope they are a decent trigger. Thanks Lee

I had one in a BR rifle awhile ago. It seemed to work ok, but I eventually replaced it with a Jewell when I had to send it back to Hart for cleaning and repair. I then sold it since I felt the Jewell was easier to maintain.

The hart trigger is decent. There were several models made.
Each one a little better. Make sure you get the instruction sheet on how to adjust it. I'm sure bob hart or walley his dad can help. Ask Laura to speak to bobby or wally.
Laura is never sure what they have at times{for some reason}
Good luck it's a very very good trigger. I have 2 or three on rifles and they work fine.

l to could use some help on this.l bought a used Hart 2 oz.
it dosn't seem right,l have not put it on for reason. What is
the cost to have Hart look it over and set it right.
Thanks for any help you can give....

Make sure you send it to the proper hart .

I would call first. Talk with walley or. He will ask you wich one you have. Ask for the instruction for the adjustments.
They are clear and easy to follow Clean the trigger first with some lighter fluid or naptha. Make sure there is no oil on the inside of the trigger before adjusting it. It really isn't hard. You just need the proper size allen wrench for the screws or if it's the earlier model; a jewelers screw driver.
The trigger adjstment are usually lock tighted or nail polished in, so they won't move.
A little heat from a match will soften the glue . Then turn the trigger in or out for pull overtravel or sear. The proper instruction,s are necessary. The new triggers are close to $200, More then likely you have one of the older models.
The adjustment are on the bottom by the trigger shoe front is over travel. I think the rear is sear the center is the pull weight. Put it on and play with it a bit and i'm sure you will get the pull you like. Remember to use some soft lock tite or some nail polish to seal them back in so they don't change.

One other thing hart usually stands behind his triggers i'm sure the charge would be minimal. They do have a good reputation .

Thank's guy's l will call..l think the one l got it from had
it apart that is the way it looks..hope it's alright,l will
send it in and see.will let you know what happens...
