The numbers indicate how much sizing will take place with the larger number indicating .001 more sizing than the smaller one. Lynwood Harrell's dies are made on a CNC turning center, with their interiors cut with a boring bar. He limits the lenths that he makes because of boring bar deflection issues that would become problematic for longer cases. For a given caliber, he has numerous dies that do different amounts of sizing a the bases of case on the shelf, so that when your fired cases arrive, all that has to be done is to gauge them and ship the appropriate die.Does anyone know the difference between a 2.5 BRA and a 3.5 BRA die?
