Hall small actions??

Fellas i stumbled into the deal of a lifetime and i will soon be shooting a Hall action in a 6ppc. A very nice man on Benchrest central is selling me his hall 6ppc. I will be new to the 6ppc and i am really excited to jump in. I havent herd a lot of talk about Hall center fire actions and i wondered how they stacked up to some of the other top actions out there. Is there anything special i need to know about them? Thanks Fellas! Lee

Fellas i have looked all over for info on these actions. It sounds like its going to be a nice action. I was wondering if this action will have a coned bolt? The man that is selling me the rifle is sick and i dont want to riddle him with questions. Thanks Lee

Halls have a 25 degree coned bolt. They are as good as any out there, but I've never seen one with an ejector.

My action will be a right bolt left port. Dont know about an ejector. I hope it doesnt! Lee I took the ejectors out of my Lawton action as they dont work worth a hoot with the short BR type cases anyway, and i think it helped the accuracy a slight bit. Really to soon to tell, but i did shoot my first .050 5 shot group with that action after it was out! The chambering is a 30BR. The Lawton is also a dual port and i kind of like it better with out the ejector. I just push the empty case out to the right as i am feeding a new one. Pretty slick! Lee

I have a Hall standard and I love it. I got it used in 22-250AI and added a 12 twist barrel. The Hall's are as good as any and you can pick them used cheap. Alot of guys a getting out of shooting or looking to up grade to RB LP, RT eject.
