Hall Action Value

I have a 6PPC rifle with a Hall action, all it says on the action is "Hall Mfg 133" anyone know what this action is valued at ? I have no use for a 6PPC .

Use the search feature on this site to view the past sales of Hall actioned rifles. The value could be $1000 to $1500 depending. Round count, stock, barrel manufacture, trigger are all factors in the price. We’re also in the “summer doldrums”. Not the best time to sell a gun.

The manufacturer pretty much just makes rimfire rifles .
I called them after I bought a Hall action on this forum to get me started in the sport.
I paid 1500 for it with a McMillan stock a barrel with hardly any rounds down it. It also came with about 40 pieces of brass.
Also if you go to the www.theshooterscorner.com
You'll find some hall actions on his site. Then you can see how that rifle compares to what Bob white is selling them for

Call them and see what it would be worth. Used to shoot rimfire with Allan years ago great folks..

One thing to keep in mind with the Hall's is that each action is an individual relative to the tenon threading, etc. When rebarreling, it's wise to reference the action serial number to the dimensions when you and keep that record for the next time. Or include it when the rifle is bought or sold.

In this day of CNC'd stuff, we're spoiled being able to do a barrels based on the mfgs specs and knowing the barrel will fit up with no issues.

I think the Hall's are one of the sexiest actions ever made. :) I've had a few leads on NIB actions but none have panned out.

Just looked at a few pics of hall actions.
Pretty neat looking.

Hall actions were manufactured in Clanton, Ala. they had an ad in Precision Shooting Magazine back in the day.
I have a question regarding the serial numbers on Hall actions. I have a Hall M action and it has a 3 digit number as well and I see the one in you message is a M 133, is there any chance that the 133 is the serial number since Mr Hall was a small shop operation? Just wondering my action is exactly like the 133 but different numbers completely.

Some of Allan's early action were make in Carrolton Tx. My #153 is so marked. This engraving is way below centerline. Could be hidden in the bedding. I am lucky that mine is a 308 bolt face that still works with PPC brass.

They are fantastic actions. I own 136B and it shoots fantastic. Parts are limited but to this day a very competitive action. Mine is a 6Dasher and shoots 4-5” groups frequently at 1000yds. Should sell between $750-$1000 fairly.
