Hall actions were manufactured in Clanton, Ala. they had an ad in Precision Shooting Magazine back in the day.I have a 6PPC rifle with a Hall action, all it says on the action is "Hall Mfg 133" anyone know what this action is valued at ? I have no use for a 6PPC .

thanksNice derail.....
Sent u a pmthanks
Just looked at a few pics of hall actions. One thing to keep in mind with the Hall's is that each action is an individual relative to the tenon threading, etc. When rebarreling, it's wise to reference the action serial number to the dimensions when you and keep that record for the next time. Or include it when the rifle is bought or sold.
In this day of CNC'd stuff, we're spoiled being able to do a barrels based on the mfgs specs and knowing the barrel will fit up with no issues.
I think the Hall's are one of the sexiest actions ever made.I've had a few leads on NIB actions but none have panned out.
Good shootin' -Al
I fell in love with them when I saw a picture of Indy racer Rick Mears on the cover of Precision Shooting Magazine shooting his Hall BR gun. Mears was a pretty good BR shooter.Just looked at a few pics of hall actions.
Pretty neat looking.
I have a question regarding the serial numbers on Hall actions. I have a Hall M action and it has a 3 digit number as well and I see the one in you message is a M 133, is there any chance that the 133 is the serial number since Mr Hall was a small shop operation? Just wondering my action is exactly like the 133 but different numbers completely.Hall actions were manufactured in Clanton, Ala. they had an ad in Precision Shooting Magazine back in the day.
