Even though it was plugged into a surge protector my scale is toast…. My neighbor lost his tv and my other neighbor lost his hot tub so I’m kinda fortunate I guess any ways what’s the best scale now days I did have a fx120I but I bought it in 2015/16 there must be something better now…….what say you all…..

When I got my FX120i, the sales lady from Cambridge said they would probably have a Black Friday sale.

Did you check the AC adapter? Often a power surge will blow it up and not the device.

Just had my power adapter take a dump. I thought it was the scale. The scale did nothing when I turned it on. A new adapter fixed that problem. It must be a negative center and positive outer to work. I couldn’t find one so Cambridge sent me a new one for the price of shipping. $20 Worth a try

You can rethink the powder-weighing process and get with Scott Parker for one of his tuned beam scales and not have to worry about anything short of a house fire frying it......Just Sayin'.....

Rick
