H4350, Varget, H4831sc, RS Grand, N140

Ok, couldn't stand it. Although I have a couple boxes of 168 TTSX Vortex for my 30-06, i made the plunge and bought the brass, bullets and dies to reload the 30-06 as well. I did buy a box of the 168 TTSX.

Of the powders listed (I have), what is your best load. I know what Barnes lists, looking for powder charge and distance to lands that have worked best for you.

Primers BR2, Rem 9 1/2, CCI 250 and fed 215M. I also have R22... saw some posts where that has been used with success as well.

For some reason, they wanted to be seated deep (more jump) for me.

I would start with h4350 with your list of powders.

H4350 and Varget are your powders. If you can get enough H4350 with the longer Barnes Bullets in that caliber it might work. But if not Varget will!

Seating, Id start at touch, and come off the lands once you find it's best 3 shot group by charge weight, to tune the load.

I would for sure spend my time with 4350 first and 4831 second.....

4350, although my experience was with the IMR version. Shot terrific with 150 and 165 grain bullets.
