H380 in the 6.5 Cr?

Thinking of trying the 107 TMK and thinking of what powders I have to use. I am using Varget with the 100's but when it comes to slower powders, I have H380, Leverevolution, AA4350 and some what is probably WWII surplus 4831 (Accurate MRP/3100). Thinking of trying H380 but haven't found any load data for it. I guess H380 is out of favor with newer powders available, but not much powder available locally, unless I want to pay $90/lb. for a limited availability.
Will be used in a Ruger RPR in clay pigeon matches (out to 385 meters).

Anyone have data for the 107's?

Thanks

Speer has some online data for a 90 grain bullet with the H380, for whatever that’s worth.

Maybe someone has some QL data to provide for H380 with 107's but appears max load will be nearer to case capacity (not compressed). I ran it in GRT and appears burnout is very early on a 24" barrel but you should be able to work up and see if you can find something that works. This is with a user supplied powder model and why I didn't provide any output. However if you look at the Speer data for 90g and other for 120 and 140 gr it does appear to be where expected. Keep in mind that H380 is temp sensitive.

I use H380 in a 22 Creed with 80’s. 34 grains is near max with Petersen 22 creed brass, but it hammers. I also use h380 in a 243 win with 105’s at 34 grains. I wouldn’t go much higher than that in any cartridge.

VERY temp sensitive. I had to ice my ammo at the CMP western games, just due to shooting in the afternoon vs. the morning. Running a rapid fire string became dicey with the sticky bolt lift I was getting.

hmmm, I'd sure think 107's would need more powder than 140's but without data...

Yep, when we'd take the same ammo for varminting above 75deg we'd keep it in a cooler (with ice) and never leave it in a warm chamber too long.

We only have our clay pigeon matches from Nov. to March, so the temps rarely reach 50 degrees. We were 43 degrees yesterday.

based on this for the 260 Rem, and knowing that the 6.5 CM is less capacity (~ 55 vs 53.8 H2o) looks like max is about 43-44gr which did match up with what I got from GRT. As always start low and work up watching for pressure.

Shurfire's data for 243 win was spot on, Hodgdon shows max for that with a 107 at 34.8gr. amazing how just the increase in bore size lowers pressure so much. I wouldn't have expected the volume change to be so much but clearly it is.
