H335 in BR

Gene Harwood sat a NBRSA World Record with the 6 Rem BR with H335 with his 60g bullets doing 3700 fps in his Heavy Varmint class rig, 24" bbl....around 1987 or so.

He really chewed me out for using H322 in mine, and he was right, not to mention the 7000+ rounds of barrel life with the H335.

I found accuracy astounding with bullets ranging from 60-70g with H335 with 7 1/2 primers. Accuracy is at peak pressure.

Note, Xterminator(AA2230) is also excellent, and I use Rem 7 1/2 primers in both. We shot an unbelievable number of jack rabbits, ground squirrels, and p. dogs with 335 and 60g sierras.

60g sierras were used in 12,13,14 twists Zero to .030 short freebores, 6 BR, and my hunting pard used the same thing, all with Rem 7 1/2's, which are critical, Fed 205, cci 400, and BR-4's just do not have enough fire for these loads. Using these short bullets in long throats is planned failure.
