H322 vs N-133

322 is historically faster, by a little over a grain, than most lots of N133.
When I first started shorting Benchrest about 30 years ago, it was one of the more popular powders along with the old “T”.
The problem with it back then was it was very inconsistent from can to can. And I mean can to can.

Then 133 hit the scene, and as many prominent shooters that finally ran out of “T” switched to it.

I am sure Hodgson has cured the the consistency problem, but I don’t know that many 6PPC shooters that use 322. Most think LT-32 is a better choice if not using N133.

However, there is no reason 322 will not work. Way back when I shot some really small aggs with it, as long as I got the tune right. 28.5 grains will give you around 3350 fps with a typical 68 grain bullet out of a 24 inch barrel. Due to the burn rate, you might see some unwanted pressure signs if you try to push it well over 3400 like many do with 133.
