hi could anyone tell me if h.s precision bottom metals and mags, are still available in the usa, gen 1. cheers bs.

I recently purchased one of their DBM systems at the end of 2024. I basically had to custom order it, since there was a wait for it, but it shipped in about 8 weeks. The quality was good in terms of the magazine and bottom metal.

It was for a Rem 700 long action in 6.5 PRC, in a McMillan A5 stock with a BDL inlet. It did require some slight massaging of the magazine well inlet to accommodate, but otherwise it fit without issues.

As far as I know they can still be purchased, although I am not sure what you mean by Gen 1.

I don’t think hs produces the gen1 metal or mags anymore is my understanding
