Guy's I need help

I get my hands on it tomorrow. All Dave's stuff is under lock and key in two locations twenty miles apart, and I don't have the key.One logistics challenge.Gentlemen Thank You for your help ! Ralph

I once had #00063 Rem 40X 22 in 95% condition. Bought it for $950 with a 2 inch Unertle 15X Ultra on it. I figure I got the gun for free and could have made money on the scope. Instead i sold it to a "friend" two days later, same price. Shoulda kept it.

Looks like an ultra varmint. Perhaps a 15X. These are fine accurate scopes. The optics are first rate for their day. With modern coatings smaller lighter scopes are clearer and brighter. You can do worse. My guess is that this would be in the neighborhood of 1000 to 1500. May be more depending on who is interested.

I got two of 'em; one with 1 1/4" objective and the other with 1 1/2" objective! Pristine! Work like a champ! Won a few 1000 yard prone matches using them mounted on a 300 Win Mag. German lenses are mighty clear! Carlos liked the one he used also!

I hadn't seen the photos and guessed at 700-900 and a grand + if he had spring and mounts. I won't tell you what he said he was going to ask for it, but I hope he reconsiders after all this.

I think he’s trying to honor his buddy and make sure his gear gets back out to shooters. I think his buddy wanted it that way. I said the same for pricing though.

A lot of people removed the springs and pulled it back every time. More consistent positioning especially with bigger cartridges.

Indeed ! The family does not need the money. This is a golden opportunity to give guy's a great deal that can use it.Hopefully people will use this for what I intended and not to turn a buck! Thanks again to all ! Ralph mollett
