Gunsmith's

I am going to have an "F" class gun built as soon as I recieve the action, stock etc.

I am looking for Gunsmith's that have built winning guns that some of you might know.

What can someone tell me about Al Warner,I am not 100% sure of the last name). From what I have been told he is one of the best. I spoke with him on the phone the other day, he is by far nicer to speak with than some of the others. Any imput is appreciated.

Alan and Dan Warner are first class gunsmiths. There are quite a few that I would not hesitate to use Sid Goodling,Bruce Baer,Mark King, Dan Dowling, Speedy Gonzales, Dave Tooley.

Right now Sid Goodling is building an F-Class rig for me.


You need to have a smith that you can communicate well with. Call them and interview them.. Tell them what you want..

This is by no means a list of the only great gunsmiths out there. There are many more.

I am sure there is a lot of great smiths out there,I can personally vouch for Dan Dowling,he has built several guns for me and some of my friends all were super shooters,a recent 308 hunting rifle he built for a friend of mine shoots so good I wont even mention the group size here......unreal for a hunting rifle
