Gunsmithing book

I am still looking for the book that was featured in the movie SHOOTER a few years ago.
The young FBI agent book was pulled from the shelf at the old gunsmiths home while all 3 were talking about conspiracy.
I don't know if this is real book or is a movie prop but what little I did see in the movie interest me.

Help is very much appreciated.

What did the cover look like? Was it thick or thin, a name, author or publisher written on it. Was it more modern or older?

I think it was Ackley's Vol 1 or 2. I was also curious and looked at my bookcase after the movie. Tom

Thanks for all the replies to my questions.
I was informed by a posting in another gun site that it is The Paper Jacket by Paul Matthews.
I looked into this and there is a book by that name which covers the topic of Paper Patching.
I also recieved a response that the book appears to be P O Ackley volume 1.
