Gunsmith WI to Chamber a Krieger

I'm looking for any recommendations for gunsmiths from WI that can do a full fitting (chamber/headspace/etc.) for a krieger barrel (6mmbr). I'm tempted to just send krieger my BAT action and have them do the work as I noticed they do offer some services to custom fitting, but I would rather have a local guy do it. I noticed there was nothing really close listed on the "Top Gunsmiths" thread here. I don't mind making a weekend trip out of it, so any suggestions, please let me know.
Or maybe there are guys out there willing do it through the mail and over the phone??

Jay Cutright in Marshall, IL . He will do it by mail.

Greg Wahlstrom in MN does them by mail.

Speedy delivery goes from WI to both. Very reasonable .

Both Jay and Greg have done work for me. They are excellent!

Check with Ryan Pierce of Piercision Rifles. He does the work for Bob Sebold (of WI) who just finished in 1st Place in the Long Range F-Open Class at the 2015 Berger Southwest Nationals. Not only is Ryan a "Top Gunsmith" but a great shooter. Not sure what part of WI you are in but Ryan is located in Lansing, Iowa which is just across the river from WI and a little south of La Cross. Go to his web site for information. Also, while on his web site go to the "More" header and pull down to Results and click on it for some competition match results. He will also do it by mail, UPS etc.

I've used Greg Wahlstrom to do somewhere around 5-6 for me and am extremely happy with his work . Quality ,fair prices, and very good turn around . He's just North of the Twin Cities and can be reached at 320-272-4897 which is the shop/ home #. If you do call tell him you heard of him on line and he was recomended by someone in Rockford ,IL . I want him to "owe" me !!!!!!

I'll second the recommendation of Ryan, great gunsmith and great guy to work with.

A lot of topnotch gunsmiths around the USA. Post office goes all over. Dwight Scott in Michigan does more precision barreling work for the winning and World Record holders in BR than any. He is also more reasonable than most. Ask Tony Boyer.

Randy Gregory is one of the top Palma shooters in Wi. He will do a great job. Ryan Pierce or Earl Leibetrau can also do a great job. Norm Brux does all of mine, but I get the barrels from him.

Norm is pretty inexpensive too. I just picked up a 6mm barrel from them that Bob brought back from the berger nationals. They are some pretty good guys there. Might not help you with someone else's barrel though

If in Wisconsin Randy Gregory is your guy, I've had a couple barrels done by him and was very pleased.
I've also had Jim Kobe do numerous barrel as have many other competitive shooters in the area. A lot of guys are using Greg Wahlstrom with great success also. All names on this thread are great, I wouldn't hesitate using any of them.

Like butch said theres no better than dwight scott. Any good gunsmith can chamber that thru the mail tho so dont let geography limit your choices.

If a guy wants a barrel installed and has all the parts my turnaround time is less than 6 weeks. Usually a week or two. The reason its so fast is I'm single and no kids so I pretty much live in the shop ;D. Working 15 hours a day 7 days a week allows me to get quite a bit done.
