I am just posting this as a positive experience For Downrange Gunsmith in Sheridan , Wy. Phone# 307-674-9277. I had him install a Remington new takeoff barrel on a 700 for me. He did an excellent job with a quick turn around time. Charged me 155.00 for the barrel and installation. Recut the crown and made sure everything was good! In limited load developement the gun shoots a half inch with Nosler varmagedon bullets( cheapest 6mm bullets you can buy) This is a short sporter weight barrel. 21.5 in. long. If you guys are in the area and need a good man to do good work look him up!
