GunsAmerica and GunBroker selling same revolver

Looking at GB 899597211 and GA 918742233. Same pictures same serial number, one is in AZ the other in the Carolinas. Something doesn’t smell right.

The GunBroker seller is not rated (only registered 3 days ago). The guns America seller is a long term member in what appears to be good standing. The gb listing is to be assumed fake. Good catch.

For fun I sent the seller on Gunbroker an email questioning how he was listing a pistol with same serial number as one listed on Guns America, then proceeded to notify Gunbroker of possible fraud. Be interesting to see if seller replies to my question.

Yeah, scammers all over the place.

I have been looking for a Desert eagle 44 Mag for about a month now.

I have run across the same thing with 1 seller with a NR rating selling 4 DE's at a buy it now price of $800 - $1000.

The give away is his method of preferred payment, Paypal, Money order only.

I have flagged a few of them and GB took them down, but next week same guns with a different sell account.

One seller was selling a airsoft gun, the box was marked MADE IN JAPAN

Typical scam. Steal someone's pix from a different site, and list the gun elsewhere. I just ignore auctions from non-rated sellers, because they are almost always scams. Report the scammer, if possible.

Reported this possible scam to gunbroker and never rec'd a reply except for automated survey asking if I was satisfied with their response. GMF.

No, they don't reply but I have noticed that after I reported the sellers in question they dissapeared off the auctions.

The problem is that they just register under another name, and resume their scamming.

I had been watching the GB auction and asked him to clarify caliber as it's listed as 32-20 or 32 WCF.

I never got a reply, and see it sold.
