A friend is looking to sell a brand new never fired Tika T3 tactical 308 with a Sako break. It has NF rings and a NF 8-32x scope, NF angle indicator, Bipod with pod lock. He says the setup cost him $4,000. What is it worth resale?
I think he will post it for sale if he knows he can gets some money back.

If the scope is an NXS,8-32 by the way), then a good ballpark figure is $1,500. Figure $1,100 if its the Benchrest model,which has an Adjustable Objective and 1/8 MOA clicks, vs. side parallax and 1/4 MOA clicks of the NXS).

Figure the rings are worth $125.

So, is the rig worth $4k? Probably not, unless it's exactly what somebody else wants and they want it NOW.

I suggest your friend's setup is probably worth about $3k, but will probably not sell for that. If it were mine, I'd sell the package as separate parts.

Selling parts seperate is a good idea but I think he is in a rush and does not want to get stuck with anything left over. With the other options the rifle has I can see closer to the 4,000 he mentioned. The NF rings alone are around $200 and anothr $175 for the angle indicator, and another $200 for the break work. Bipod and pod lock $135. In any event, I think he will sell everything for $3,000 if anyone is interested. He has never fired the gun. I would expect .5MOA or better. I don't understand it myself but apparently he has come on hard times with money.
Ok, just found out he sust sold it all for $2,100. I guess he was VERY hard up for money. Someone got a great deal..
