Shooter12...just curious, what area are you in? Just wondering because I'm in WV but near MD as well. Just wanted to see if we were close enough that whatever gunsmiths get recommended would serve me as well if I need one in the future. I'm in Romney, WV and near Cumberland, MD. I personally don't know of any good gunsmiths but I've never needed one either up to this point so I've never looked.

I know this thread is several months old but I thought I'd mention that Clay Spencer is currently offering gunsmithing services. He has recently re-barreled a couple of rifles for me and of course his work is top notch.

Bheadboy don't know about the panhandle but on the west coast, Ive shoot against Dana English's rifles and they shoot good. I hear good stuff about Eric Bostrum also. That said Dusty is right UPS runs all the time. Pick who you really want to build your rifle and don't look back. I send one to Dusty's uncle or brother, Col Billy every now and then.
