Gun Safe Humidity

This was a very scientific test, humidity inside of a gun safe. Most older safes don't have holes are plugs
for electric dehumidifiers that you can use today. I had purchased a Eva-Dry E-500
dehumidifier type you plug in to a wall outlet to recharge. This unit absorbs
8-10oz. of moisture with a water absorption indicator. Time line I go two months
probably last three months and was curious if it does work . Purchased the Golden Rod
inside/outside temp./humidity monitor that was advertized in the bulletin section.
Monitor was placed on top of safe for two days to compare that the inside/outside readings
were the same. Safe door was open for about six hours to equalize inside to outside humidity/temp.
Placed monitor inside safe for three days, temp. was 1 deg. cooler then o/s, humidity 1% less then o/s.
Recharged Eva Dry and placed i/s, the next morning temp. was 2 deg. cooler and humidity 5% less than o/s.
For next ten days humidity was 5-6% less than o/s. Just more info to over load your brain.
Eva Dry was $22.95 and free shipping if interested on E-Bay
