Gun rests

What does everyone recommend for gun rests for ladders or grouping? I have a caldwell tack driver right now and just a cheap bag under the back end. Sitting on a cable spool

Shoot with what your use to and comfortable with.
You can shoot small with a stack of sand bags.
Concentrate on your form and the shot.

For bench or table a br rock front with protector rear is what I started with. (Still have em)
Those were the days !
Simple and exploring fun.
Now I'm complicated and nit picking exacts ....
Still fun though !

go to targetshooting.com and talk to Wally, the 1000lp with recoil setup is really nice. many accessories for different applications

Years and years ago, yes I am old, a friend bought a new 1973 Ford XLT 4x4. His first hunting trip he decided to check his scope zero on his rifle. He laid the forearm across the hood of his shiny new truck and lit one off. Now the '73 Fords had a stiffener rib about 4" wide running front to back in the center of the hood. You can envision the outcome.
