Great to see OTT product and process featured in this week's article. I own 8 of Mike's barrels and they are the pride of my collection. He and I have collaborated on a couple of wildcat projects and he is truly a customer oriented owner/operator. His EDM cut custom dies are the best I have screwed into my press. The latest barrel he has crafted for me is a 24"x1.0" SS 20BR from a Green Mountain blank. I'll be sure to post some targets and load data after I spend some range time with it. For those TC shooters out that there that have not fitted an OTT barrel to their frame..you aint livin yet!

Thanks for the thumbs up. Mike Sirvois really is a very smart and inventine guy. I have absolutely no doubt that EDM,or something like it) will render conventional reamers obsolete some day, though we may always use drills to make initial cuts.

For someone needing a custom FL sizing die, it seems EDM can deliver a superior product, at lower cost, when you consider you don't have to buy an undersize reamer,a full-length sizing die cut with the chamber finish reamer won't do what you need it to do--reduce the diam at shoulder and web.)
