Okay, just spent a few minutes obtaining these numbers off the web
this is a mix of 2020 and 2021 data.... in other words, I grabbed data from one or the other as it was available.

By cause in order
1. Heart disease 695,547 (20%)
2. Cancer 605,213 (17%)
3. Covid 416,893 (12%)
4. Accidents 224,935 (6.5%) This is falls, traffic accidents, and poising all combined
5. Stroke 162,890 (4.7%)
6. Respiratory Disease 142,342 (4.1%)
7. Alzheimer's 119,399 (3.4%)
8. Diabetes 103,294 (2.9%)
9. Liver Disease 56,585 (1.6%)
10. Kidney Disease 54,358 (1.5%)
OTHER which includes murder and suicide along with lots of stuff including medical mistakes.
Suicide 48,183 (1.3%) of which 26,328 (0.7% of total deaths) are with a firearm of some sort.
Homicide 26,031 (.7%) of which 20,958 (0.6% of total deaths) were committed with a gun.
