In 100/200 group how many targets are shot at each distance per gun?

Can you go back to sighters once started shooting your group?

Thanks for any replys

5 targets per gun at each distance. You have 10 minutes for first target at each distance and 7 minutes for the next 4. You can shoot as many sighters as you want. This is the usual course of fire in NBRSA. Some IBS matches have a warm-up target before shooting the record groups.

tt...(op) to answer your question ,,,,yes you can go back to the sighter during the shooting of your group...if there is a change you can go back down to the sighter and fire as many shots as you like and can go back as many times as you like,,,just dont run out of time or ammo,,hahah,,,,,and the normal course of fire for LV/HV/SP is 5 x 5 shot groups at 100 yds and 5 x 5 shot groups at 200 yrds and for UL at Nationals 8 x 10 shot groups,,,,while at regionals it is usually 5 x 10 shot with UL,,,and there are occasional 5 x 5 with UL at local matches ( Visalia-Tacoma-etc),,,,I hope this answers your inquiry,,,,Roger

Denton runs a Poker chip match each month (I think this is a money shoot). I believe there is a shoot there this weekend. If you want a cheap easy way to start, at Arlington Sportsman Club, we shoot a monthly score shoot from April - Oct on the 4th Sat of the month. It is very relaxed, and very cheap. $5 for members and $10 for guests.

The club is located at 11500 CR 525 in Mansfield TX 76063.

First match is April 22. Come see us.

Practice from 8am until they close the range at 3pm Friday to set flags for about an hour then re open for more practice

I just sent you my cell

Ok perfect. Thank you. Thud talked to me one day about some of the different shoots in North Texas. I lived there 5 years and I was completely unaware.

I predict that you will get all of the help that you need, and that you will have a good time. I would be interested to read of your experiences.
My wife and I pulled in to Riverbend range to see a line of campers, trailers, trucks and a very nice facility. The first guy I ran into was Tim who had offered to show us the ropes, I want to thank him and everyone for being so helpful and patient with our questions which I'm sure they have been asked many times by newbies like us. This was Friday, we got our bench assignment and set our flags when the range went cold. The wind was blowing so hard I was afraid my flags wouldn't survive, the range stayed cold the rest of the evening which was ok with me in that wind. Saturday morning was cold but a lot calmer, we came preloaded so only had ammo for the hv matches but luckily I had 3 extra test groups I was gonna try but hadn't gotten the chance so I shot 3 lv matches to try and get my nerves in check for the hv match, one shot good the other two not so much. We shot the hv match and had a blast ,got to hang out with a great crowd and saw some very nice equipment and great shooting. We have many thousands of shots to put down range and years of work ahead of us. We can't wait to come back. Thanks again to the great crowd for welcoming us.
