Catshooter you are probably older than me, I haven't seen a set up like that since the 60's and 70's! Still wish I had all my Unertl's Had 4. Had one of those rangefinders in my hands that I got at a gun show for $50 bucks, till a guy offered me $275, and it was gone also. Woodchucks were many back in the 60's now I'm lucky to see five a year.

You need to work your way down here where I live Joe. Birdsboro. You can sit on my front porch and pick them off by the dozens ;)

"CatShooter you are probably older than me" ...

HA! I'm older that everybody. When Ruggus Rattus was in the 2nd grade, he told his whole class that I was 917 years old. HE STILL tells people that I am 917 years old.

Bought the rifle in 1975 as a 22-250 and went through 5 barrels in that calibre - About 3 years ago, I rebarreled it to .244 Remington.

A friend found several of the Swiss Rangefinders in a high class militaria store when he was visiting Switzerland. He picked the two best and shipped to me to hold for him when he got back - one was for me and I was (am) thrilled with it. I also have one of the Swedish Periscopes rangefinders that is also typical Swiss quality - hospital laboratory grade. The case for it costs as much as my car ;) ;) ;)

Over 600 in 17 years from one honeyhole NY farm....

Doing my part to send a message to Phil. I hate winter.

And I have been tracking Cody WY weather and it beats Upstate NY in warmer temps overall, less snow too. And I have seen ice here in May, still not melted off cause the sun hardly ever shines. 21 days straight of no sun in December. The only shadow that varmint saw was cast from Klieg lights.

I would love to chat on phone. I shoot lots of Ghogs too. I would like to discuss tips and tricks. These guys can be very unpredictable.
Send me email, I will give you my phone #.

seems like we have a nice little group here in PA willing to bring in hunters, and looking to go to other hunters areas to kill chucks.

I would love to be added to the list in both aspects. I have 500 acres in Bradford County and 1000 acres of huntable permission near State College and the PSU campus.

If anyone wants to trade hunts that would be awesome!! Bradford county was a hot bed for a decade but unless we shot them all the coyotes are ruining it pretty quick.

Centre county on the other hand - coyotes aren't there too thick yet or else the amish are chasing them all off with horrifying horse drawn buggies and bonnets

Don't forget the boys in Western MD :D

LOL... Yea, I have been hunting that same farm for around 40 years. Started off trailing behind my father when I was around 10. The place has switched owners a few times. The hogs just aren't around like they used to be.....
