I've been dumping all my dead gh's behind my acreage, to feed scavengers , buzzards, red tail hawks , bald eagles, and coyotes, the yotes can come in any time now because of pups being fed. I check when able on trail cam and try to pattern coyotes times of arrival, it works pretty good especially this time of year.GH's have been disappearing quite quickly last couple weeks, I caught a big fat one stealing carcasses. Just after dinner I caught a glimpse of movement across the river behind the house 110 yards, high weeds, I keep the 17 loaded in the spare room by the window for these occasions, about 7pm I saw fur and a yote mouthinga big dead swollen gh in order to get it in its mouth and haul away, took a quick shot and he disappeared. I crossed the river found the gh, but no yote wtf? No way I missed so i started looking , well 10 yards away I started to find little drops of blood, then bigger the lots, scuttle marks in brush and leaves. Thirty yards away much to my relief here he was , what a HOG,DRT. Neck shot no exit.
