Hey, just wanted to share a vid I put together this evening. This is the first vid that I've ever done like this, I'll see what other stuff I can put on the vid's, but just wanted to share it.

Thanks for the comments guys. This is the first year with both the gun and the camera and I'll record much more of our hunts. I'll be picking up a tripod this weekend so the footage should turn out real well.

Hillbilly: We are in southern York county, but this was filmed in MD. We are really close to the line and we are slowly branching out to other farms since our other farms are being thinned out pretty bad with us hunting, plus a retired grandfather with a custom 6mm makes short work of a farm.

Great, I'm just north of you and an avid ground hog hunter. Been out five times so far.
Got 12 but this lousy weather has kept me from going more often.

What do you think about the PA Game Commission's new rule, no hog hunting the last two weeks in May because they extended turkey season to all day during this time.
If you're like me and really angered by this absurd rule, email the PA Game Commission and voice your objection. If we get enough varmint hunters complaining they may change it for next year.

Good video. It's rock chucks out here in Washington, pretty much the same critter, more or less. Generally I use my .204, .25-06 (oh yeah!) or the .308 Win with light varmint bullets. My son blasts 'em with his 6mm Rem or drops down to the .17 HMR. Actually I shoot a fair number of them with the .22 long rifle, but it's not nearly as entertaining.

Congrats on some fine shooting between you and your Dad.
