There are so many things that will cause chatter. If you can see the lines on these cases, not very good photos, I did not see the chatter until I ran the cases in a body die the first time. I did notice my lathe had a slight noise when I chambered this barrel that I had not noticed before. It is an old belt drive Enco. So I checked the spindle belt, it had a gap in it. The bad part is in order to change the belt the spindle shaft would have to be removed, I think. I bought a link belt and did not have to remove the shaft. It runs very smooth. I think this was the problem with the chatter I had on this chamber. I did a test cut on what I cut off the muzzle end of the barrel. The good thing is this rifles shoots in the teens. So when do I rework the barrel?
