The Grinch and King Greg ...I mean Greg King wins St Louis again. Greg soundly defeated the field of 30 shooters this week with his 6MM Grinch and 80 gr bullets. Conditions were miserable with temps in the low 30s and winds approaching 30 mph! As you can see by the scores no one else was even close.

Not Bart, but my Lapua Grendel brass, necked down and a 6mm bullet seated, measures .2723ish

I know it's just me and I don't set the bar all that high but my hat is off to anyone who can shoot less than a .4 Grand Agg in those conditions. And a tip of the hat to all those that competed.

I had Dave Kiff run the numbers for a min turn neck for a straight 6 Grendel reamer and he recommended a .271. I could probably get by with a tad larger but I'm ok with the .271 chamber. I'd be splitting frog hairs to do it differently.

Lots of the credit for this caliber working so well is contributed to the fantastic bullets Bart has been providing. 80 gr dominator. I also believe this year we will be seeing his 103s winning 600 yard matches also.

Bart, do they post an equipment list on this match. I can't seem to find one. Just curious. And Greg's 200yd groups show some impressive numbers. That's great shooting there.

And I think Brett S may be right on the 103's. Darned good shooters those 103's. WD
