Green and yellow boxes

Can someone tell me what the green and yellow boxes mean. There are also boxes by you login name, some are clear. What am I missing?

My guess is the boxes refer to how many posts you've made - the more boxes, the more posts - and they showw green when a member is on line & yellow when he's not.

Nope, that doesn't look like it's the case. My box is yellow & I'm on line & the gentleman who posted earlier is green. It's probably a zombie takeover of the site.

Could you be more specific regarding what you are referring to? Ammo boxes? Site Login Boxes? Shoe boxes?

Sorry...the boxes I a referring to are the ones below your login name. Not ammo boxes. Some are green some yellow. Then some have a clear box next to login name. I was just curious.

Look at Johnkielly and MTM, the box is clear next to their name. But mine is green and so is sniper's...again just curios.

Row of boxes: number of boxes proportional to number of posts
Row of boxes: green=site contributor; yellow=cheapskate (if also high trade count, freeloader :)
