Great story!

I just wanted to say what a great story about two guns for two brothers. It is heartwarming to know that two brothers half way around the world from each other could be linked by the great sport of shooting. My thanks to Milan for sharing this with the fraternity of shooters. You set an example for all of us to "be our brother's keeper". I mean this in the best possible sense of the phrase. I wish you and your brother continued success and good health so that you may continue to share in our great sport.

Kendall,

Thank you so much for your kind and warm words. Today I translated the article to my brother, and I have to admit that it was very emotional for both of us. My brother and I communicate through SKYPE and web cameras. After we spoke today, he went to a shooting range and shot his so far best group with a new barrel and BIB95 bullets. The weather was just perfect, the temperature was little over 50F and almost no wind. He was shooting F-Class style with bipod averaging 1/4" on 100m. That is enough to win first competition.
Kendall, thanks again for your kindness.

The story of Milan and Mirek is very inspirational. Thank you for taking the time to share it with us. Way to go, guys! :)

Good shooting and best wishes. -Al Nyhus

Milan, this is a very good and well written story of family and shootin' - subjects near and dear to my heart - thank you for sharing!

I am pleased to see that Mirek is having better luck - what did he change? R.G.

Hi Randy,

After trying about everything, I feel that we found the best possible load: BIB 95, 31.5 Grains Norma 203B, CCI BR4, 263 bushing, little less than .002 grips), jumping .005., and Feet/Sec around 2,980. Mirek shot a couple groups smaller than 1/4" from bipod. He also tried his 14-twist barrel with 68 grm Mach bullets, which was his last year's winning combination, and group slightly opened up. Temperature was around 60F and wind was light.
