Great day for groundhogs!

This spot really produces I saw over a dozen 6 DRT, at 125 to 176 yards, many out of my reach with the 17 hornet. I never moved from this spot. One shot at 176 yards dove in his hole shown here but was drt and only made it 6 inches, another shot drt in the right hand corner. Lots of holes, tools of trade shown, cost lots of money to hunt nowadays.
Yamaha Kodiak a must have,$7000, CZ 527 American $1800 todays price, Hawke scope $625,chair $100, Bog pod $129 on sale, binocs $169, range finder $149 ghillie suit $49, 2022 Tacoma 4x4 4 door V-6 $36000, Infinity X suppressor $1000 and change . Worth every penny. See continuation below.

I am jealous. I hunted since 1970 around Holmes and Coshocton Co. After about 4 trips without seeing a mound or GH in a field I gave up. These areas used to be very rural I cannot believe how many stores there are now in Millersburg. Used to get about 40 every year for about 45 years. Drove around Harrison Co. 2 trips nothing. Harrison Co. used to be a GH hunter paradise.

Around Killbuck it's still very good hunting , I killed 16 down in that area a month ago.
Hit Amish farms they usually will let you in. Carroll county is good as well as Tuscarawas.
Millersburg back roads still productive takes time to cultivate permission. I never stop knocking on doors whenever I see activity in fields.

Just saw my first GH in several years. It was in my driveway.
