Graphite lubing?

I'm starting to get into competition shooting a little, and I just ordered a 200 grain SWC .45 bullet mold. We are trying out some different lubes and I wanted to know what other people like. So far we have used a 50/50 paraffin/beeswax lube, but we have to do a lot of work to get it so they don't jam :(
Now we are getting ready to try graphite on the 9mm and a thin layer of the 50/50 then coated with graphite. What do you say? I want to find the best way to go about it that is both cost and time effective. Thanks

Are you referring to bullet lube or mold release?

Boron Nitride would be a great mold release. The grade would be less critical. Cosmetic grade would work fine and not be hazardous to the barrel.

Some face powders are based with Boron Nitride.

Years ago I shot handguns alot. I bought lead bullets from Mathews Police Supply in Mathews, NC. These bullets had lub rings but were not lubed with a wax grease lube when sized. They were sized and lubed with a dark gray almost blac dry lube. The bullets shot well without leading the barrel when shooting target round velocities. I would almost bet the bullets were dipped and allowed to dry then rolled for a minute or two in a rubber lined cement mixer. Hasndling an individual bullet did not result in getting any lubricant on your hands. But handling several hundred did result in it coming off on your hands.

The NECO molly works well on pistol bullets. Midway sold a knock off Molly kit a few years back.
