I'm bringing Jalapeno cornbread… and will be "on-time" this time. ;) Looking forward to the last match of the year, with a great bunch of folks.

Andy, my daughter Sarah will be shooting if she gets time off, I will be calling the line and ensuring the chili is ready..

Mike, I got to shoot two wkends ago in MI with loaner equip, started out dang good, then the dang rain started, the pasters wouldn't stick and the match was called after first relay of second string. But was a very good time and met some great folks. So if I shoot, I will bring on the rain....

I'm scared of rain... Lol.

How did it go? Heard there was a little wind

I don't know if I can do the wind description justice but, to say there was a little wind is a definite understatement! I don't know if I would say typicall grand forks wind(it was worse)but, it for surely wasn't far off. We saw gust up to 41mph! From the beginning the wind was blowing! On average the wind was about 9-24 mph and to top it off, it was a lovely fish tailing head wind! And every once in a while a full value gust would sneak up out of nowhere!

Maybe nodak7mm can give a little more detail sine he was running the line. Also I would like to thank to Rod (nodak7mm) and Mike cobert for a smoothly ran and great match. I had a lot of fun and enjoyed the potluck. Ican't wait for next year.

P.S. cakes where were you?

Hey Guys-
Was planning on making it as the last match of the year. Mike and Rod always put on a great feed and all the competitors...good bunch of folks. Alas...family obligations prevented me from getting any ammo loaded up so I still have a brand new barrel on the 6 Super. My loss for not getting there but good to hear everyone enjoyed the "slight breeze"!! :) I was thinking of you folks as the whitecaps were rolling by down on the lake!! Eric in DL

Yes, it 'twas a tish breezy.. As Andy said we had fish tailing gusts to 41 and my wind meter showed a match average wind of 18.9. But it was a great effort by all shooters, yes the the first string was tryin for all..

Great big table of food and goodies.. Best comment came from Drew, "These Krispy bars are ... like...Like Heroin!!." (Kudos to Brian's wife on the Heroin bars).. Lol.. The crew almost ate 3 gallons of chili... Hard to beat Food & Fellowship..

Match Winners:

Coby Dalgiesh - Conventional/Sling
Brian Suhr - F/Open
Jeff Kunze - F/TR
Denny Coulter - High SR.
Jacob Vaagen - High JR.

I had a great time seeing familiar faces, even tho my eyes, lips and face still burn and voice is hoarse from hollering commands in the typical ND breeze...

Kudos to Mike, Gordy and crew for putting on a great match at a great facility. Missed the MN contingent... Eric, Eric, Joel, Adam and the rest of ya too timid ta shoot in a little ND breeze...

Rod

Glad to hear you guys had a great match. While the mudwrestling over MN 2015 matches needed to get done, I would have rather been shooting.
