JGS just rang me up with delivery notice. The 20/223AI is on the way !! Need to shop barrels, what maker is the way to go in a 20. I am a Krieger, Brux fan in 6mm, but this small bore is new to me. Thanks in advance, Tim.

I run a PacNor 8 1/2tw with my 5X45AI. It runs the 55 grain Bergers very well.

A good Bud, retired Bench shooter, has been wringing out a 6XC Long and told me he has never had a bbl copper less than a couple of XCalibers he has chambered in that. I have several .20s and will have him whomp up a VT from the reamer you sold me.
If you don't mind, I'd like to see how you spec'd out the reamer. PM coming.
XCaliber may well be your shortest wait time if the others don't have what you need in ready stock.
Iirc, my Bud has seen some ragged bbls from one of those you mentioned, using a Hawkeye and the Lyman. He said it looked like an alligator's back on one of the flanks and they may want to check their tooling......Said mfr blew him off in short order.

I have a Krieger in 20 practical and a PacNor in a 20-250. Can't go wrong either way.

Muellerworks makes a nice 20 Cal barrel.

Another + for X-Caliber. I have put together three 20 cal., all 10T 3 grove that shoot lights out with very little copper fouling.

I have a Bartlein waiting for my .20-223AI reamer as well, we`ll see how that one goes.

I`ll have to dream up something to build on a Muellerworks barrel...

Nothing here that stands head and shoulders above the rest.

I've got a couple x-caliber 20's. They shoot pretty good. Also have a few mcgowen's and they shoot very well too.

I did a 20 caliber barrel order with Krieger and got mine in a couple months as well. I hope it shoots like my other Krieger barrels.
