Ohlongarm -Didn't hunt, just checked it out word of mouth, only 20 acres, saw one standing in the field around 9 o'clock Beans are about 4 inches, and notice how they're eaten up already in the bare spot. Will try and hit it Friday my only available day.View attachment 1668569
This is north and south, never hunted according to the landowner, we'll see maybe Friday, weather permitting my only day off this week. Tons of rain here.Ohlongarm -
Howdy !
Looks like a really good spot !
You may have to go there early, for starters.
Is this field oriented roughly East-West ?
Not all beans are up here, yet. Had the coldest May here, since Mt. St. Helen’s blew up. Lot’s of days in the high 50’s + days upon days of rain.
The beans they managed to plant on-time are up 6” plus. I have a new field to shoot this year that beans are only around 2” tall right now. Might get to shoot groundhog past
04 July.

Tomorrow my day off. That has all the possibilities of being a jackpot field. Back before the 'chuck population around here tanked, I had a field very similar and it was loaded with chucks when I started and new chucks just kept coming in. Let us know how it goes. WD
